Data we collect

We may collect information when you send an email, chat via the website or via social media channels or contact us in person, through the Site or through our partner event booking site and store (Shopify Privacy Policy) or when you sign up to receive information through the Site: your name, email address, postal address, telephone number and any other particular details that you give us will be recorded.

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, to send you information about us, our services, partners or the site via regular marketing emails.

We will also share your information when you book a place on one of our events or courses with the MENTA trainer. You will receive MENTA marketing that is designed to help you and your business further.

We will only keep your information for as long as we are either required to by law, or as is relevant for the purposes for which it was collected. We have in place appropriate technical and security measures to prevent unauthorised or unlawful access to or accidental loss of or destruction or damage to your information. In particular, we store your personal details on a secure server. We use firewalls on our servers.

Other uses of your personal information

We may use any of the information which you provide to us in order to send you information about products or services that we think would be of interest to you. If you would prefer not to receive particular information, please inform us of this by sending an email to heretohelp@menta.org.uk.

We may also disclose information you provide to data management companies acting under specific contract to us; who host our email marketing list and distribute our email newsletter.  In each case we have an appropriate data protection agreement in place and any data we provide such data management companies is stored by them on secure servers and is used for no other purpose than that allowed by the contract we have with each of them.

Other than as set out above, or unless we are required to do so by law, we shall not disclose your personal information to third parties without obtaining your specific prior consent.  This may, for example, include our funders and other business support organisations with which we are working from time to time.  Please note that if disclosing this information is needed for you to receive support, complete a course or book an event with one of our partners, this fact will be drawn to your attention before you submit it, thus giving you the opportunity to halt the process. If you decide to proceed, you should satisfy yourself about the Privacy Policies of each of our partners; we have no control over them.

The Site may contain links to other sites or frames of other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those other sites.
