Jamie is a successful entrepreneur with a proven track record in building global digital businesses. In 1999, Jamie launched one of the UK’s first digital marketing agencies, taking it from a back room in Framlingham to national recognition before its acquisition in 2007. From 2010 to 2018, Jamie built and grew a SAAS analytics platform; the World’s Leading ‘Pay as you Go’ Social Analytics platform. Jamie is also a founding supporter of the University of Suffolk.
Andrea is responsible for leading the team at Forest Heath District Council and St Edmundsbury Borough Council on economic development. She has a strong interest in helping businesses to develop, grow and prosper. As such, Andrea is passionate about supporting MENTA and using her knowledge, experience and connections to support the local business community.
Emma is a director of Pathfinder East. She has over 25 years’ experience in the private and not-for-profit sector with a focus on marketing. Emma is energised by the tremendous drive and opportunities for start-ups and business growth in the region, and is delighted to be part of the board to help shape the work of MENTA.
An engineering graduate and former airline pilot and instructor, Bill’s extensive career in the aviation industry saw him progress to fulfilling various senior management and board-level roles, experiencing merger and acquisition on three different occasions. In 2014, Bill and his wife set up Bury St Edmunds-based IP firm, Ward Trade Marks. For Bill, helping MENTA to support the growth of start-up and early-stage businesses is a pleasure and a privilege.
Callum is CEO and co-founder of the East Anglian-based tech start-up, Safepoint. Callum is very active in the local entrepreneurial community, having started his own business, raised investment and grant funding, and gained recognition for Safepoint as one of the most innovative companies in East Anglia. He brings a wealth of insight for the challenges entrepreneurs face in the region and invaluable first-hand business owner experience.
As a commercial solicitor, Alistair advises a wide range of local businesses and is passionate about understanding and encouraging business development. He enjoys supporting the MENTA team with the many and varied enterprise initiatives they provide to start-up and growing businesses.
Rob’s skills and knowledge centre on strategic eBusiness consultancy. His experience enables him to identify commercial objectives and requirements, and, in turn, translate these into an actionable technical strategy. Rob thoroughly enjoys his work with MENTA and brings a host of web-based and technical skills to the board.
