Business Support Prepares for the New Normal.

MENTA Business Support will be reopening its doors to all visitors from July 1st, MENTA which runs the Vision Centre on Eastern Way in Bury St Edmunds as well as our site on Hollands road in Haverhill.

The business is also launching a new website to accommodate more online live training sessions for established businesses throughout Suffolk for those clients that would rather learn new skills from at home or at work.

The Vision Centre which opened in 1984 has several resident businesses operating from the site and many of these have continued to trade normally while the centre remained closed to visitors.

The property manager for MENTA, Paul Vella, says “we have used the lock-down period to refresh our public-facing areas, undertaking some decorating and deep cleaning. Both the Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill sites are now ready to welcome back visitors and clients”

MENTA delivers training workshops and sessions to established businesses from the Bury St Edmunds site and MENTA CEO, Alex Till, says “we have reduced the delegated space within our training spaces, allowing for government advice to be followed. Signage and sanitizing stations have been deployed and we are confident that clients will feel safe within this new training environment.

We have also moved a large proportion of our business training online and delivering these live Zoom training sessions. These will be featured on our new website which has been designed to help businesses find the support they want quickly and delivered in a way that suits them”

The new MENTA website will go live on July 1st at menta.org.uk

MENTA continues to deliver FREE business advice to those affected by COVID-19 and locally based businesses are welcome to book an advice session by emailing 121@menta.org.uk  areas of assistance include, advice around grants, marketing, sales and staffing. This advice can be delivered over the phone, via Skype or Face-time if preferred.
