Ipswich based river cruise business 'Lady Florence & Allen Gardiner' based at Fox’s Marina in the Suffolk town are reporting how they plan to welcome a full return to business following the lockdowns.

The two historic and popular river cruisers are being refitted for the re-opening of business on the 17th May.  The team say "it is scrape and paint and jolly hard work on the wooden boats - we and the staff are so relived to be so close to a full re-opening of the business and welcoming back pleasure-seeker's".

Last year during the very trying times of lockdown and then operating with restrictions the owners Kris and Craig explained how they had created a different package together for a cruise and meal on the boats.

Now the business offers a choice of menu, which is a fixed price for two courses £19.95 and three courses £22.95.  The boat charge is £23.50 for a three-hour lunch, supper or dinner cruise down the Orwell River or from Orford on the River Ore.

Fixed-price menu such as Thai-style Fish Cakes, Espetada- Beef Skewer and delicious home-made Sticky Toffee Pudding as example.

The business offer a 3-course breakfast from 9.30am to 11.30am.  Fruit juice and then fruit starter, full cooked main course, coffee, tea, toast marmalade.  Followed by hot apple pie and muffins.
