MENTA Seeking New Board Member to Help Shape Enterprise in the Region

Your skills and experience will be vital to 2021 has seen some exciting projects for MENTA, we have...

• Provided 50 online business support workshops to over 250 individuals
• Created 19 exciting new online and face to face networking events for 411 businesses plus marketing opportunities for 115 businesses through MENTA Marketplace
• Provided workspace for 50 businesses
• Launched a new creative workspace @Inc in the heart of Bury St Edmund’s cultural quarter
• Opened 2 new Skills and Enterprise Centres
• Provided financial support to 273 businesses (Transmit leads)
• Created exciting learning opportunities through our new online Knowledge Hub
• Over 1,400 individuals from across the region have attended one of our Start up business training or advice sessions in 2021

Your skills and experience will be vital to enable the organisation to create a leading team of enterprise advocates. You will be expected to represent the views and interests of MENTA, and enterprise related activities across Suffolk and Norfolk.

Applicants are sought from all sectors and are not restricted by age, sex, ethnic origin, experience or county demographic.

Successful candidates will initially serve for a 12 month term and must commit to six formal meetings a year, with additional representation at specific events.
