Staff at MENTA have voted for Suffolk MIND to be their charity of choice for 2017. The business support agency made the announcement in readiness for Coffee Means Business, its business networking event to be held at Seckford Hall, Woodbridge on Tuesday 25th April. Carole Thain of Suffolk Mind will explain how aspects of the charity’s work programme is designed to support homeworkers, freelancers, business owners and their staff.
Leanne Castle of MENTA said, “Each year we choose to highlight and support a local charity and the team almost unanimously voted for Suffolk Mind.
“Over the coming months we’ll ensure the local business community are aware of how the stresses and strains of being your own boss and employing others can impact on them individually and what they can do mitigate this.”
Suffolk MIND provides advice on a range of subjects for businesses and managers. For instance they help with stress management and supply practical tools and techniques to help people cope with stress and improve sleep patterns. They also provide sessions for team leaders who have responsibility for supporting employees with mental ill health.
