Relaxed and Chilled Business Networking with MENTA

Many small and micro businesses shy away from the opportunity of networking with other businesses as they worry they will be expected to give a presentation or find walking into a room of strangers daunting.

MENTA’s Coffee Means Business at Baythorne Hall near Haverhill and Clare is ideal for people who don’t usually attend networking events. People stand and chat over a cup of coffee or tea, making those all important new contacts which may become new sales and clients over time.

Leanne Castle of MENTA commented, “The events are designed to be welcoming and informal, Coffee Means Business is an effective way of making new connections. My role is to ensure those who attend are linked up with likeminded people and to encourage a relaxed, chilled atmosphere where everyone can make the very most of the networking opportunities.  We encourage visitors to bring their business cards and always have a free raffle for a rather good bottle of wine chosen by Baythorne Hall.”

On Thursday 5th July the invited speaker will be Sarah Waterson of Hunnaball Family Funeral Group and who is based at their Colchester office.  The family business has 10 branches across Suffolk and Essex and Sarah is responsible for the training and development of staff and will share her ideas on what makes great customer service.

Booking isn’t essential, there aren’t any membership fees, just £5 payable on arrival. For more details see here.
