Munchy Seeds Founder to Speak at MENTA’s Networking Event

Thu Jun 14 2018
MENTA has invited Lucinda Clay of Suffolk based, Munchy Seeds as guest speaker at Coffee Means Business at Seckford Hall, Woodbridge. The event takes place on Tuesday 26th June and is designed to provide small business owners with a friendly and informal networking format and the opportunity to hear the stories behind established local brands.

Munchy Seeds was established more than 18 years ago and is run by Crispin and Lucinda Clay. The idea came from Lucinda’s childhood in New Zealand, when her granny would treat her to a roasted two-seed mix. There are now nine different sweet and savoury flavours and all seeds are roasted by hand in small batches at the Munchy Seed factory in Leiston on the Suffolk coast. Their products are sold in farm shops and by supermarkets such as Waitrose and Sainsbury’s.

Lucinda will tell her business story at Coffee Means Business and how she has grown and expanded the business.

Nick Pandolfi who hosts MENTA’s Coffee Means Business said, “Our monthly networking events attract businesses from across Suffolk. Our aim is to provide people with the space to make those all-important contacts. I enjoy hosting these events, there is always a great mix of businesses and a fantastic atmosphere.”

Coffee Means Business is sponsored by Ensors Chartered Accountants and is open to all to attend, there are no joining or membership requirements and booking isn’t essential. The June event at Seckford Hall, Woodbridge is on 26th June from 9.30am until 11.30am and £5pp is payable on arrival. MENTA holds similar events in Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill.
