Outstanding entrepreneurial business leaders required - Help us shape enterprise in Suffolk and Norfolk
MENTA has developed a dynamic approach to enterprise related activities within Suffolk and Norfolk, addressing the direct needs of new, emerging and existing businesses. Established in 1984 as a not for profit organisation limited by guarantee, MENTA has successfully delivered business advice and support to 1000’s of small businesses.
Our current two sites have more than fifty managed work spaces and business units, a knowledgeable team of advisers and trainers, MENTA works with key stakeholders and partners to support skills, enterprise and employability and drive forward business and economic growth. MENTA invites entrepreneurial business leaders to join their board of directors.
The MENTA board will consist of 10 business leaders and include representatives from a range of public, private and voluntary sector organisations. Candidates must be persuasive and influential, willing to bring energy, passion, entrepreneurial flair and creativity to help with the continued growth of MENTA. Experience of small to medium sized enterprises is a prerequisite. Your skills and experience will be vital to enable the organisation to create a leading team of enterprise advocates. You will be expected to represent the views and interests of MENTA, and enterprise related activities across Suffolk and Norfolk.
Applicants are sought from all sectors and are not restricted by age, sex, ethnic origin, experience or county demographic. Successful candidates will initially serve for a 12 month term and must commit to six formal meetings a year, with additional representation at specific events.
