First Coffee Means Business at New Venue a Great Success

More than 45 business people attended Menta’s first Coffee Means Business at The Clubhouse, Bury St Edmunds.

Menta and sponsors, Ensors Chartered Accountants welcomed local businesses who had the opportunity to network over coffee, make new contacts and gain knowledge and information from the morning’s speakers.

Teresa Logan who hosts Coffee Means Business said, “It was fantastic to have so many businesses attend Coffee Means Business. There was a great atmosphere and some good connections were made. It was super to meet so many new faces and to introduce them to other business owners.

“My thanks to our speakers Phil Morley of Phil Morley Photography and Katie Ives of On the Button Digital Marketing who both gave us tips on how to use social media to gain a better return from our time by using the right words and images.

“Our aim at Menta is to support business growth and Coffee Means Business provides businesses with an informal, friendly environment in which to network, establish new business contacts which will, in time, lead to increased sales.”

Katie Ives of On the Button said, “We started our business using Menta’s advice service in 2014 and have grown so much since then.  From our offices in Mildenhall, we provide enthusiastic and professional social media management. We help businesses improve and increase their presence online by delivering hands-on, step by step training with great support. I wanted to speak at Coffee Means Business as I knew it’s a cost-effective way of reaching a lot of local businesses, many of whom are interested in the subject matter, in one easy hit. I then had the opportunity of following up conversations from the morning with the attendees. It was time very well spent.”

The next Coffee Means Business event at The Clubhouse, Bury Town Football Club, which is at the back of the Ram Meadow Carpark is on Thursday 9th February from 9.30am until 11.30am. Booking isn’t required and it costs just £2 per person to attend. For more details go to our Business Networking page or call Menta on 01284 760206.
