Be Your Own Boss – Free Business Start-up Training Workshops in Kings Lynn
Taking the decision to start a business is often a daunting step, especially for someone who hasn’t a business background or experience of what it involves.
MENTA has been helping people start up and grow their businesses for over 35 years and launches its start-up, Start Right workshops in Kings Lynn from June.
The free package of support is ideal for people who are thinking of starting a business or have set up in the last twelve months.
MENTA’s three Start Right workshops provide a whole range of business information. This includes how to structure and register a business, how to identify potential customers and how to plan and implement cost effective marketing. There will be training on basic book keeping and self-assessment to keep the Tax Office happy.
Norfolk based; Laura Remblance has turned her hobby into a business venture. Lovingly Handmade Crochet is now a full-time business thanks to MENTA’s Start Right training. The young businesswoman says, “The three MENTA workshops and great business advice gave me confidence, knowing my unique products would sell, I established myself as a sole trader.”
