Cloud Accounting for Making Tax Digital

Overview

‘This is a hands-on course. Please bring a laptop with you to gain maximum benefit from the session’

HMRC’s steady drive towards digitalisation will result in all businesses, over the next few years, having to communicate digitally with HMRC.  HMRC’s ultimate goal being the monthly electronic submission of data for all businesses – irrelevant of size.

This whole initiative is known as ‘Making Tax Digital’ and even though the end goal may be a few years away for many smaller businesses, Ensors Chartered Accountants have developed this workshop specifically for owner-managers to ensure you are ready for Making Tax Digital.  Although HMRC might be driving the change it represents a real opportunity for businesses to buy into digitalisation and the benefits that come with it as it can offer increased accuracy, timely reporting and efficiency savings if managed correctly.

Much of the technology, once solely the domain of larger corporates, is now accessible for the smaller business and can speed up many of the basic processes that just seem to eat away at your time.

An experienced accounts’ professional and natural communicator, Ensors workshop host, Lucy Moore, will guide you through the benefits and disadvantages of using digital accounting software; take an independent and professional practitioners view of the most popular packages on the market; and demonstrate some of the key features allowing you time to get hands-on experience.
