Menta - The Suffolk Enterprise Agency is working in partnership with the National Enterprise Network, supporting the Get Mentoring project.
This ground breaking initiative will unlock, train and support a whole new community of business mentors in the UK. Together we are promoting and training new mentors, and sharing more informaton about how it works.
To become a mentor you must have the required skills, knowledge and experience. We don’t want to discourage mentors, or put unnecessary barriers in the way of potential mentors, but we need to be sure that you have the key skills required to mentor other people at the crucial stages of starting, running and growing their own business.
To help you, SFEDI have put together a training workshop which will provide you with an overview of the skills and knowledge we would expect a mentor to have, which we are delivering free of charge to all those prepared to volunteer their time to help other business owners and managers as part of the national Get Mentoring initiative.
