Course Tutor: Sean Proctor
www.planx.co.uk

Sean Proctor is a self confessed 'geek', internet guru and entrepreneur who runs his own internet consultancy business building and marketing websites.

After seeing the success and potential of many internet shops that he had built, Sean then decided to branch out and launch his own internet shop.  This was closely followed by four further internet shops which currently trade under the Essential Shops brand selling board games, toys, craft, household items and childrens dress up costumes.

The whole reasoning behind five separate shops as opposed to one was purely target marketing.  Through Sean's 'geekie' internet interest and his wealth of internet marketing experience with websites he has a totally different approach to building new ones.  All projects include the marketing element built in at the beginning rather than just building a website and then worrying about marketing it later.  With the further addition of the ebay shop which achieved Power Seller status in a very short time every avenue of internet selling and marketing is explored.

Essential Shops Ltd. was extremely successful in the first 12 months of trading and as a result won two awards, Best New Business and  Best Use of Technology at the 2008 CB9 Business Awards Ceremony
